Westchester Bowl in Bakersfield, CA, opened in 1959 under the ownership of Pete Lokey and Jack Moore. For six decades, this 24-lane bowling alley at 30th and F streets was a community hub, hosting countless games and leagues. In 2019, the lanes fell silent as the bowling center closed its doors, but Mossman s Westchester Coffee Shop, known for its fish and chips, continues to operate in the same building, preserving a piece of local history.
