The Redondo Beach Wharf Rats were a minor league baseball team that played in the Class D level Southern California Trolley League in 1910. The team clinched the league championship with a 9–2 record before the league disbanded mid-season. Their home games were accessible via the extensive trolley system connecting the greater Los Angeles area, reflecting the league s unique characteristic. Despite their brief existence, the Wharf Rats legacy continues, inspiring modern youth and vintage baseball teams in Redondo Beach to adopt the moniker. ​ This design is part of our retro baseball collection, inspired by the defunct baseball teams of yesteryear.
