The Pasadena Millionaires, a historic minor league baseball team that brought excitement to Southern California in the early 20th century. Established in 1913, the Millionaires competed in the Class D level Southern California League, representing the city of Pasadena. They played their home games at Brookside Park. Mid-season, the team relocated to Santa Barbara, becoming the Barbareans, but the league disbanded later that year. The Millionaires moniker paid homage to Pasadena s affluent Millionaire s Row along South Orange Grove Boulevard.
