The Hollywood Recreation Center, located at 1539 Vine Street in Los Angeles, California, opened in 1940 as a bowling alley. Over the years, the building underwent several transformations, including housing Tom Breneman s Restaurant and later the ABC Radio Center. Today, the site is home to the Ricardo Montalbán Theatre, a historic venue for performing arts.
