The Dubuque Shamrocks were a minor league baseball team from Dubuque, Iowa, active in 1879. They competed in the Northwestern League, one of the earliest professional leagues. The team played home games at the Dubuque Base Ball Grounds and featured future Hall of Famer Charles Old Hoss Radbourn. Despite their short existence, the Shamrocks remain a unique part of Iowa s baseball history.
